About us
Circle M Stables Racing is owned and operated by Kris and Wendy Molle, with the help of their two young children Kaeden and Blake. We are located just west of Chauvin, Alberta.
Both Kris and Wendy were born into the sport of chuckwagon racing. Both grew up travelling across Saskatchewan during the summer months following the racing circuit and competing in gymkhana events.
Kris started a winning tradition from the beginning. From a very early age, he and his palomino pony, Whiskey, were an unbeatable team. They won many gymkhana titles in their years together. At the age of 14 Kris started racing chariots and at the age of 16 he crawled into the box of a wagon and has never looked back.
He is a very successful driver, trainer and farrier and has travelled extensively across the Prairie Provinces racing wagons with the APCCA, EPPCCA, APPCCA, PAPPCCA and NWPPCCA. Kris has won numerous show titles in his years as a pony chuckwagon driver, including the 2005 Klondike Days Chuckwagon Derby and Dash for Cash in Edmonton and two North American Pony Chuckwagon Championships, one in 2008 and the other in 2010. They are proudly sponsored by Diamond Drill, LTD out of Acheson, Alberta.
After many successful years as a pony chuckwagon driver, Kris is now stepping up into Thoroughbred Chuckwagon racing with the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association in 2011. Check out his profile bio and find out where the tour stops at http://www.cpcaracing.com/
Wendy began running barrels and other gymkhana events at the age of 5 years. She also competed in Western Showmanship and Equitation throughout her teenage years before leaving home to pursue an education degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Wendy is also certified in Equine TruTouch therapy.
Wendy now barrel races in the ABRA, SBRA and rodeo associations across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Kaeden and Blake have also inherited the love of horses and compete alongside.
We hope to see you at the races!
